Rain Bike is a mechanism for public connection. Through the absurdity of traveling with a personal rain cloud, I break people out of their routines for an unexpected moment of interaction.
Multiple Performances - in and around Madison WI, Aug-Sep 2019
Eye Contact is an attempt to break down the barriers between individuals in public spaces. Through the absurdity of commodifying a simple human action, I provide commentary on the breakdown of communication between strangers and the need for openness in daily life.
Multiple Performance - Durham, Chapel Hill NC Apr-Jun 2019

Through an exploration of plant seeds, “Seed” signifies our own possibility for the future, and a yearning for biodiversity lost and imagined. Each seed is a stand in for a species of prodigious megaflora, giving a sense of exaggerated scale and creating a vision of a grand forest yet to be found.
Going beyond pure utility a table can anchor a space, be the heart of a gathering, and bear loads both literal and emotional.
